Poem Dress for a Hermaphrodite was a piece for Pulp Fashion, an art and fashion show at Dieu Donne Papermaking Mill, New York City. The dress made of light vellum has a ribbon with the language from Emily Dickinson’s Poem #125 “For Each Ecstatic Instant” running down the length of the dress and onwards to the floor. The dress is worn by Sur Rodney Sur who has half of his nude body exposed and the other half covered in the dress.
